It was the proximity to the Olhão markets and the Ria Formosa that led to the name CESTARIA (Basketry). Although this craft technique has fallen into disuse, there are still vendors who use wicker baskets for carrying and packaging food. The use of basketry utensils was also common in fishing and agriculture. Not so long ago, it was equally common to find, in the houses of our grandparents, cleaning utensils, storage and decorative objects made from this art.
The chromatic palette has its origin in the golden tone of the baskets. In addition, the olive green seeks to make the connection with nature, with the land and with the “farm to table” philosophy adopted by the restaurant.
The logo was designed to represent the braiding technique and the warm and familiar relationship that the brand seeks to have with the customer.
